Book 1: Post Adventure
|
And so ends the first book in the ongoing BioFable series: the April, May, June and July mini-explorations of 7-year-old twins Mallory and Melody Maloney. Whether you’re 7 or 107, I hope you enjoyed it and learned a few new things, as I did in researching many of the stories’ technology details -- from various sources to avoid presenting so-called facts that are simply “junk science” (or misleading "pop science"). The links in the right column represent the best of the best so you don’t get link overload and simply decide to ignore all the links. Follow your interests. You’ll never know what fascinating paths are waiting to be discovered until you take the first step (or click). Click on the teal-colored text in the Table of Contents on each page to re-read sections. We don't recommend jumping ahead! Don’t miss the Maloney family’s continuing monthly adventures in Book 2 of “The Journey Begins.” You'll learn about the history of the money sack that was uncovered in the shifting sand dunes. The August excursion takes the Maloneys to Door County in Wisconsin: bumpy ferry rides to two islands, tales of sunken treasure and discovery of a map are just some of the surprises awaiting. A September weekend at a friend’s place with a pond and a rowboat doesn’t sound very exciting, does it? Neither does pumpkin picking and other fall activities in October, nor “doing well by doing good” in November. When the Maloney twins are involved, though, you never know... Please click HERE to start reading BioFables; The Adventure Begins, Book 2. Book 3 of “The Journey Begins” finds the Maloneys skiing in Colorado, exploring the canyons and ice falls of Starved Rock, a location that Mike Maloney wants to keep a secret for now (the twins aren’t the only ones returning to school in the fall), and a Ninja Women competition in Japan. Pleae click HERE for the start of Book 3. Additional BioFable books are in the works. As the title of the first three books implies, the journey is just beginning. The twins have a full lifetime of adventures ahead. ABOUT THE AUTHOR |
