Book 2, Chapter 4: Thanksgiving
|
Welcome to the launch of our BioFables children's art gallery, a celebration of the imagination and skills of youngsters worldwide. Our aim is to be a virtual refrigerator door showcasing pictures of children's artwork inspired by scenes described in the BioFables stories. Each chapter will have its own Virtual Refrigerator Door. Parents or guardians: we invite you to read the second Book''s Chapter 4 "A Thanksgiving Project" to -- or with -- your children (the story takes place in November). Then, ask your child or children how they visualize different scenes. Let them express their ideas in crayon, pencil, colored marker, or even decorating or arranging objects. Then scan or photograph their creations and e-mail them to us. Click HERE for more information and directions on how to submit artwork. Please note that this is NOT a contest. It is an open, fee-free, ongoing artwork show where you and your children can proudly point to their creations. The outline below provides an overview of the chapter. Click on each link to continue reading each section. The page will open in a new window so this window will stay open for your easy reference. The suggestions in the right column are pretty generic, meant to be simply a starting point; we're sure the children in your life will create wonderfully creative artwork as they visualize each scene. Parents or guardians, please click HERE for guidelines for submitting your child's artwork. |
